General Questions
QUESTION (Q): What is .--=Realm of QuickPaw=--.?ANSWER (A): This is my art web site. I felt it was time to share my art with other people. The reason why I didn't make this site a long time ago was the simple fact that I couldn't draw ^_^;. Well, I'm much better now...so...yeah.
QUESTION (Q): When did you make this site? It's SWEET!!!
ANSWER (A): I started making this site at the end of July 2003. I made the first basic pages (like this one) a few day later. Since then, I upload new art and content whenever I can. And thank you for saying my site is 'SWEET!!!' ^_^.
QUESTION (Q): Does anyone else work on your site?
ANSWER (A): No, I work alone on this little ol' site of mine. I feel that since the primary function of this site is to display my art, I should build it myself. It gives me a feeling of accomplishment...like "w00t!...I made something...I smart person *bangs head*". Yeah........
QUESTION (Q): Can I help you work on your web site?
ANSWER (A): I prefer to do things myself, but if you find something wrong with my site, I would like to know (and thanks ahead of time!).
QUESTION (Q): Your site doesn't load...what's the deal?
ANSWER (A): Sorry about that. The server my site is on is probably down. Try back later and everything should be ok (wait...how can you be reading this then O_o).
Art Questions
QUESTION (Q): Where did you get all this cool art?ANSWER (A): Umm....I made it myself...didn't you know? ^_^; Silly. Anywho, yeah...all art on my site is done by me unless stated otherwise.
QUESTION (Q): Can you teach me how to draw?
ANSWER (A): All I can really offer are a few tips I personally use. For example:
- Plan out what you want to draw in your head, basically, visualize how it will look when it is finished and then just fill in everything inbetween.
- I usual draw with some kind of music on, because it's relaxing.
- If you feel like your art isn't coming out right, come back to it in a little bit, you'll be surprised how a little break can get the creative juices flowing.
- And the most important is to always remember to practice and to stick with it!!
ANSWER (A): There are several things you can do. First, since you are online I assume, go onto a search engine and look up art tutorials. Second, you can go to a local bookstore or comic book store and pick up a 'How to Draw' book. Those come in pretty handy at times. All you have to remember is practice, practice, practice. Believe me, I was terrible at drawing when I first started. You just need to work at it...and then the magical art fairy will come your way and grant you art powers beyond your imagination..........or not ^_^;
QUESTION (Q): Can you draw me something?...I'll even pay!
ANSWER (A): Sorry again, but I don't do commissions. It's only at conventions where I bend the rules a little bit because I always seem to draw better there. I am flattered though that you would actually pay money for my stuff ^_^. If you really, really, REALLY want me to draw something, e-mail me and I'll see what I can do.
QUESTION (Q): What do you use to draw?
ANSWER (A): First off, paper. I use sketch pads to do pencil/dry media work, and I use a drawing pad for ink work. Strathmore makes good pads. Next, pencils. I always use a mechanical pencil to draw with. Normal pencils have to be sharpened every few minutes, but you don't have to do that with a mechanical, you just drop in a refill. A good refill with last awhile. Finally, ink. I use either Sharpie pens (less than .5) or Sakura Macrons (.3 to .1). Sharpies are good for big lines, but they bleed...alot. Macrons are a artist's friend. They can give you wonderful detail work without having to worry about bleeding. They are also fun to use! For vectoring, I use a combination of Adobe Flash and Adobe Illustrator, and for color...Adobe Photoshop!

QUESTION (Q): What name should I call you by?
ANSWER (A): My friends call me QP, but QuickPaw is good for everyone else. I'll even accept "that guy with the interesting art site". ^_^
Miscellaneous Questions
QUESTION (Q): When will your next update be?ANSWER (A): *runs*...hehe..just kidding. Well, I update whenever I'm able to, or when there's something that I feel is worthy to put up here. If I don't update for a while, I'm probably just busy with RL (Real Life) stuff.
